Cancellation Policy
Deposit and cancellation The booking deposit secures the selected party date and time and is deducted from the total party price. If the customer cancels at least 14 clear days before the party, the customer may either move the booking once to another available date or cancel and receive a refund of the deposit. If the customer cancels fewer than 14 clear days before the party, the deposit is non-refundable because Little Burrowers may already have committed staff, purchased supplies and incurred preparation costs. Where Little Burrowers is able to rebook the cancelled slot or avoid the relevant costs, any amount retained will be limited to Little Burrowers’ reasonable, unrecoverable loss. That final sentence helps keep the clause proportionate. CMA guidance supports retaining deposits for genuine, unavoidable losses, but cautions against blanket retention that gives the business more than its actual loss. CMA unfair-contract-terms guidance Rescheduling Customers may move their booking once by giving at least 14 clear days’ notice. All changes are subject to availability. Requests received fewer than 14 clear days before the party will be treated under the cancellation terms. Remaining balance The remaining balance is due seven days before the party. For bookings accepted within seven days of the party, the full price is payable when booking. If LBL cancels If Little Burrowers cancels the party, the customer may choose either a full refund of all payments made or move the booking to another available date.
